If you would like to request SBOL to volunteer at your event

The Seattle Boys of Leather is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization existing as a forum through which self-identified leatherboys may educate and learn about the brotherhood of boys and the leather community at large, provide fellowship and encouragement, socialize, have fun, and support each other and serve their community.

We define the term ‘leatherboy’ as broadly as possible with the intent of being inclusive. The term ‘leatherboy’ is not limited to a particular , gender, age, appearance, or sexual orientation; rather, it represents a common dedication to service and devotion to the leather community.

We gather in boyhood and brotherhood to support our members and our community with integrity, fidelity and service.

This group is only for self-identified boy/bois who are 21 years of age or older.

Seattle Boys of Leather requires a completed Volunteer Request Form two months prior to your event.

This advance notice is required so that:

• The elected leadership and members can vote on whether or not SBoL will volunteer at your event.
• so that we can give our membership enough notification to make time in their schedules to volunteer.

If the SBoL leadership council and members do not vote for SBoL to volunteer at this event, members have the option to volunteer individually.

Please take the time to answer the following questions. The more information you are able to provide, the better able we are to make an informed decision.

What is the name of your organization?

Are you a non-profit organization? If so what designation? (ie 501c3)

What is the contact information of your volunteer coordinator?

Please give a description and date of the event for which you are requesting volunteers. Press release or website information is appreciated.

For exactly what type of services are you requesting volunteers for?
(ie set up/take down, selling raffle tickets)

What is the schedule of service for possible volunteers?

Do the possible volunteers receive any type of rebate for your event or a meal if your event is a dinner in appreciation for their services?

How many volunteers do you hope to request?

Is there any additional information regarding your request that you would like to add?
